This qualification is intended for candidates who want to learn the skills to provide clinical supervision for counselling practitioners who are working with clients. It is an ideal training programme regardless of current status…those who have undertaken basic supervision training, those who have experience as a therapist who wish to extend their skills to becoming a supervisor, those who have evolved into a supervisory role without any formal training or those who wish to gain a high level, professional qualification to consolidate their learning and development and/or to formalise their skills.
The course will be based on the Person-Centred approach and beliefs but will draw from various models of supervision in order to give trainee supervisors a range of skills and techniques that can be used with supervisees.
